The Twinning programme, run by the Oxford Hub in partnership with Oxford University colleges and primary schools in Oxford, provides enrichment activities and academic support to young learners, through volunteer tutoring opportunities for college students.

GOALS OF TWINNING:

Establish a strong relationship between colleges and local primary schools.
Help narrow the attainment gap in the city, through tutoring.
Raise the aspirations of local children.
Offer university students a chance to engage with the local community through activities with local schools.

WHAT IS THE OXFORD HUB? The Oxford Hub is an Oxford-based charity, that coordinates the Twinning Project across the city, pairing primary schools and colleges and supporting them to deliver academic and tuition activities in their primary schools.
